the day finally came

and the kid was so excited, he couldnt get out of the car fast enough,
then things kinda changed as we walked in, his little chin started quivering and the big crocodile tears started rolling. I stayed a bit and played, but had to leave while gman sobbed
at pick up he was all smiles, and ended up LOVING IT.
"i promise i wont cry tom"
and the kid didnt!

Oh Grady, the thought of you crying big tears makes me so sad, but I am so glad that you have it all figured out now and are all smiles. I wonder what your Mom is doing with all her free personal space?

I'd be crying too if I had to leave you mom. Partying with you mom all day is got to be way better than learning your abc's. You look so handsome and grown up. I remember Dax starting his first day of preschool at Miss Misti's like it was yesterday. He didn't like it at first either. It won't be long until you are in second grade ruling the school. I love you Grady!

So happy to hear he didn't cry. He just needed to get through the first day. :) I hope you are enjoying your mornings with no kids, even if you are doing hair, I bet it's nice.
