so me and matt headed to utah for her funeral.
it was the most tender ive ever seen matt.
he loved his grandma, he always tells me of the fun sleep overs he had as a child at her house, he loved her cooking and how she did everything she could to make her husband happy..
(a trait he wishes i had a little more of)
heres all the heaps kids..
jason, mindi, matt, heidi, and kim
matt was a paul bearer, and she had the prettiest white purple and pink flowers.
the day ended up being warm and sunny.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE MEMORIES OF HER..
she knew i wanted a diaper geinie when i first got married and matt didnt, at my baby shower there it was wrapped with a big bow with her grinning so big, i loved how everysunday she would bring the best fruit salads, she was always happy and never complanied, she loved my boys and always had treats for them, her house was always open for us, dinners at her house she always had diet coke, her chiles xmas gift cards, and how she always told me stories of matt and how much she loved him.
we were lucky enough to get my mom and dad to watch the kids so the boys didnt have to make the LONG DRIVE. on they way home we hit vegas, ate at our fav. mexican joint and hot tubbed.
when we got home all my laundry was done jsut right, microwave cleaned, doors wipped free of finger prints and fresh flowers planted... topped off with all the boys so excited to tell us of everything they did.. catching rabbits in cages, fishing, movie partys, yummy food, babsketball games, and every other thing a kid would want to do!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH WE LOVE YOU BOTH!
