ended up being a last minuet call, late thursday night we booked a get away
to cali to escape the heat and little did we know we were heading to the artic...
the boys loved every second of it though the just kept the hoodies on.
HIGHLIGHTS
getting the highroller sweet, yummy donuts on the beach, good talks, a tiny hot tub, all 5 boys falling asleep on one bed, cards, raps, and horses, burnt lips, mary not liking my candy selction, bubbles, backwards,baseball on the beach, volleyball, matt and rys masterpiece sand castle, sprinkles, the rio, too desert stops, tiki burgers, little people being a hit, and mary working ushers song LIKE NO OTHER!!

When you get to heaven, I think you will get the "figured out how to enjoy life the most"award. You continually amaze me. If only you could rub off on me more. I hope your boys know how lucky they are to have the party mom. Looks like a perfect weekend. And what are the chances that it was freezing again? I know when you are with Mary and Ryan lifes a party. Glad you had a fun one. I love you.
I would like to tell Mr. Al Gore personally that this whole "global warming" thing is a crock of shizzz...anywho, it was kindof nice to experience a few shivers while enjoying the beach, and we all know that Ryan didn't mind at all because we got a news flash...they guy likes a good hoodie/sweater..who knew. Glad BYU won, you and Dax are miracle sleep givers, we should have gone to vegas considering you were on a winning streak like no other, 5 boys in a bed is the cutest sight out there, loved our parenting talks on the beach and you having my back on the whole "building mountains and tiny organs" bit. sum it up in 2 words. THE BEST;)
Oh I would kill to be in the arctic right now! Looks like a blast can't beat an impromptu Cali vacation!
I'm with Paige...the arctic is calling my name. This AZ weather lately sucks! I'll take a last minute trip anyday!
Oh the pic of those boys running down the sandy slope and the one of Jace with the sea weed lei are so fun! Looks like you made the absolute most of the cooler beach weather. And the nights when all those boys were asleep I bet were maybe even more delightful then the days! So glad you got your getaway!!!
