salt lake review

so the sleep over in salt lake was a little different this year
1st we stayed at hotel monico aka no pool
2nd the Thompson's were missing in action 3rd no mall to hit the shops
( they re all in construction) 4th so much snow we couldn't really walk the temple lights all in all it was different but fun.
the olive garden food was so yummy and its hard to get Matt to
ever eat there, this is one time i can allways count on.
the company was fabulous, grandma Clark's Christmas stories before
bed were a hit, and too wake up to 6 inches of snow, was well, lovely.

No pool, that sucks. My family use to do that but not any more. I miss it. Olive Garden reminds me of you. What is it with boys not liking that place? Jason will never go there either. Let's us go sometime!

So your review for SLC was pretty much a thumbs down. Hope we didn't make it that way. You forgot to tell about Matt's favorite part: the movie! I had fun watching Matt scurry after Jace the whole time especially when he ran down across the screen front and center. WT! I had fun being with everyone. Thanks for the ride!

It looks fun even though it was different than previous years. Those flakes were awesome! I love huge snow flakes like that, it makes driving in it a bit easier.

Still looks fun...I would give and arm and a leg to be with my family during Christmas Season!

Jamie you make everything a party so I'm sure it was a hoot and your mom is so darling always telling stories or having fairy parties. Where did she come from, is she really Mrs. Klaus?? You all look cute in your hats and those snowflakes are so big and fluffy!

All I can say is atleast there are some quality malls in Utah, even if they are under construction you know they are there. Your family does the funnest things! You are blessed to have such a great family!

This post is from Grandpa Clark. Your mother has been in tears since reading your blog. She tries so hard to make this trip special each year. It was not her fault the hotel sucked (we asked Bret to help us with that). And we cannot control the weather either. If Matt hates the olive garden so much then why did he order the most expensive thing on the menu. I hope your boys have rotten teeth from all the mints they stole.

P.S.- this post was really from Bret.

P.S.S.- I think this is really funny!!! - Bret
