Jace started 1st grade which means its all day and he eats lunch there...
he was so nervous he kept telling me his stumic hurt, and right before we got to his class he broke out in tears, which led to me bawling... it was a good thing matt was with us cuz he had us all whipped in shape before the bell rang. after school he was all smiles and excited to go the next day.
Dax took the day with ease and excitment to see all his school buddies he missed the summer.
im so glad they have each other and its fun watching them walk out together, nothing like a best buddie to do life with.

Those smiles say it all! Cutest boys in the whole school! I know how protective Dax is and Jace will always be in good hands! The first day of school is always rough on the moms! I hope you and Grady are hitting all the lunch spots!
Oh Jace, I love you! I want to know what Matt said to whip you guys into smiles...worrying is like a rocking chair??:) They look so happy and handsome for their first day, and them having eachother is serisouly the BEST thing, wait till G man comes to school and the Heaps will rule the school:)
They sure were looking good for their first day! I think I would start crying too if one of my kids was sad. You never know how that first day drop off will go. :) Hope they have been having a great week!
I love the lotion shinning on their faces. They are so scrubbed and pampered and lotioned up before they leave for school. Back packs on their backs and off they go with confidence. Wish I could ride to drop them off with you this morning, and maybe take a walk around the park. Love Ya!
Oh those teachers of those lil fellas are certainly in for a treat! Such happy smiles! Eating lunch at school is huge! But we all know... He is def. Missing out on lunch dates with his mom. Love you boys!
