started the night before... we had our family bday dinner and his pick
SHRIMP, CRAB & BREAD AND BUTTER
then the day of he woke up bright and early... this kid LOVES birthdays
so we had to open gifts before dad left to work
he asked for a wallet with a thosand dollars in it
but he seemed pretty pumped with the 5 he got given
he decided he wanted to party at petter pipper, last years pizza making HAD TO BE DONE AGIAN
and i think he loved every second of it

Dax!! I don't know if you know this but around here at the Thorne house Dax is pretty much everyones hero. Dax is the best sharer, when he gets an icee the first thing on his mind is finding his little brothers to share with them, the most protective: I will never foreget when Dax told D that if a bee ever comes near him he will have it sting him instead, the most thoughtful: we still have all the cute cards he has made us, the best smile, serisoulsy it can light up a room, the most giving, I can't believe he tried to give me his hard earned money for a gatorade, the most brave: my kids have learned everything they know about bravery from Dax and his brothers. WE love you Dax!! WE really do:)
Oh Dax how I love you! I look at my picture that you drew with all of us and our guns on my fridge every day and smile. You are a delight! Happy Birthday! Jamie I looked in the Lagona Book this morning. It says you are in charge this year???? What do you think? Do we want to do some pages for the book? Dax, Happy Bday! I love that when you come to my house you always want to draw and you draw the best pictures and even sometimes let me keep them and put them on my fridge. And you do give the best hugs out there. I hope you will never be too old for that! We smithys love love love you!
