was perfect the kids slept in till 730 and i dont think ive ever seen them so excited. each thing they opened was better then the last.
matt made his famouse xmas breaky
and we lounged around the house all day in our pjs playing with all the new toys
living in az has its perks, lunch was out on our pourch
then the t-horneys come up for our feast
mary worked some fab desserts and a devine cheese platter
the firework show was a hit
the boys got more and more brave with each one lit
once the kids were in bed, we ran to the open gas station hoping for a xmas mirracle and won a 50$ scratcher, i have honestly never seen this girl loose on 1.
we played cards, looked at old flames, laughed, cried a little when the cowboys lost, ate some more, watched a movie and loved everysecond of it.

Couple of things right off...Dallas' expression in that fireworks pic, so classic! The pic of you and Mary, best one ever, love it you two are smashing! Mary winning again?! I don't know how you leave home without her! The lunch looked like some nachoey goodness and I want to know what it was and lastly how you two fams always seem to pack so much in in so little time, I will never know. You will forever be the reigning party animals. Glad it was fab!
Sounds/looks like a very merry Christmas! Could you believe the weather??? I am with you...a perk of AZ. Seriously though, if Mary keeps the luck up, I am so kidnapping her and taking her to Vegas! Imagine the possibilities!!! PJ's all day rule...love it!!! Looks like you can't beat Christmastime at the Heaps!
We might have to scratch our brunch tradition completely and come up for the Matt made breaky, looks yummy. Your boys must have been super good because they got hooked up by the big man, I loved seeing how excited they all were...and matt is right the black wii, looks darn good. Nothing tops off the Christmas magical feeling then a night with you guys. We loved the feast every bite was better then the last. The after dinner games might have been my fave: goonies cast members, old ladies and migets and fiveheads..oh my:)Some people took a little more time trying to find good pictures... I love we won on our scratcher and got crunchy ice, that Barb is a trooper working on Christmas. Best part of the day...best head massage ever. Love you guys!
