today was dax's first school report/presentation.
it was on PILL BUGS aka rollie pollies. they kid did awsome. my favorite part was the question answer part, to which one girl asked
'if they only have 7 legs why did you draw 14?" (smart little suckers)
and then to all of you with the burning question of where to get the cutest headbands around...
and to your last question... yes she can put that whole dipped icecream down in .02 seconds
she has all sorts of talents.

first of all Dax looks incredibly handsome in that button down shirt giving his presentation and did he tell that girl to shush or he was gonna kick her in the butt? Second that picture of me would be perfect for my original name I picked for the biz, you know which one. Third, I might look a little prego in that pic....oopsie:)and lastly thanks for the shout out, I love you...smooochhhhhhh muah.
well to the know it all in the crowd, there are actually only 13 legs on that there rolly polly. I feel ya on feelin like your kid was mine. So proud I was of that daxie...love him.
love the project pic. love the fab headbands. and love that the pic you chose of Mary is that one...that is one amazing sight to see, I NEVER BORE OF IT! And to Mary: I love the yellow and blue outfit.
No wonder he was all out of sorts at yogurt 2 nite. The kid had a big presentation and I bet it just took it all out of him. Not to mention the trauma of being questioned by such an unbearable girl. Talk about buggie!! I commend you on not taking her out right then and there!
Way to go Dax! The first presentation in school is a big deal. I love the pointing finger I bet that made the event so much more fun.
Oh he is such a smarty pants with the pill bug! Looks like a presentation full of good info!
I LOVE my sweet headband! (even though I haven't busted it out yet):) If I just didn't have ugly hair!
I love the pointer stick he is presenting with he looks so official.. Thanks for the Mary having an Etsy shop secret.. Can't wait to sport one..
What would I have given to have been in that class room to see and hear him do that project! He looks so Big and so Brave! I love his darling writing and coloring. He has his Mom's artistic skills! That pointer helped him point out those legs I'm sure. So Cute! Dax your aunt Kelly Loves You!
Don't get too Smart, Too Quick!
I am excited for the head bands.. will have to give it a whirl. I need to know where she got her shirt and sweater!
OMG I LOVE that Dax- were you just dying inside while he was doing his presentation and wanting to squeeze him HARD!! Rolly-polly's are the best entertainment for kids and I think Dax should collect a whole jar of them and let them loose in that smart-alec girls bed. hee hee
Mary's skills.....they just baffle me. She has so many! Maybe she could do that on David Letterman someday.
I think I have an extra special something for that kid. That post made me just smile. I love him to death! What kindergartener is giving such a presentation? I am impressed! I am sure his Dad rehearsed it well with him and his mom helped him make his poster just so perfect. You will not be able to hold that kid back another year. He is brilliant and his writing is so cute. He does look so big....bigger than I saw him last. That makes me sad. Glad I get to give all 3 of your boys a big hug in 6 weeks. And for Mary she does have style. Love the headbands and would like to compete in snarf of that cone. xoxo
