this sat. anthem had a verterans day parade, and since matt is still lying flat i rounded up the 3 monkeys and headed out.
before the parade started we ate treats and talked cami had a brilliant idea of throwing the dirty candy in the road, i mean what kid would walk out there to get them.
yup pretty sure grady spent most of his time running out there to pick up what he could
we got some good comments of how many kids we all had & if we were all justins wifes, which we all know, you would LOVE justin

my favortie entry of the parade the RED HATTERS. in a few years you will see me all done up with a fancy red hat.

What a fun day! Our Veteran's day parade is classic. I loved you all piled up with kids. Hope the rest of your day was good and that Matt is recovering well!
I can't wait to be a red hatter. Those ladies were fabulous.
I didn't even know it was vetrens day. We missed out on a full day of celebrations. Grady your mom was the one that taught me the 5 minute rule. Treats taste good anyway. Seeing you in your backpack brought back us walking at the mall ...you with all of your kids and about 3 of mine piled up in top and you buying suckers to keep them all happy.
I am crazy about the picture of the boys from behind sitting on the gutter. What a big bunch of cute kids loving the parade.
I love how Anthem does every holiday big! You would look fabulous in a big red hat, and Grady is the cutest thing searching for the dirty candy. Dirt makes it yummy!
You are such a fun mom! I think I would have stayed home and missed out on the fun! You are Amazing! Love how everything in the garage was placed so nicely in its right spot! I can see you in the red hat know... HOT! The boys look so big to me... Dax looked Huge! That little stinker is growing up! Tell them I love them!
So I'm joining you in the red hatter's club. Do you think we could maybe do a vator in the middle of the parade?
Missing you lots!
See, the whole candy in the street thing is just evidence of Grady's brilliance and top notch survival skills. You hid the skittles and he just figured out an even better plan.
I think he was the BEST pre-parade show ever!!!
Those hat ladies crack me up! Who came up with that idea anyways?? Probably somebody way off their rocker! Jame you moved to the right place...party city!
Red hatters or the sequence & baton ladies. Love that little Grady!
