Last night as i went to bed i made the ussual tuck in before hitting the sack, but this time i was nervouse about what this night would bring. Through out the night i would wake up and recheck all the boys feeling them to check fevers or coughs and breathing, each time being pleasantly suprized. finnally after what seemed to be the millionth time up, i crashed on the floor outside there rooms so the littlest whine wouldnt be missed.
around 7 jace was the first to creep out and lay beside me soon dax joined us. we whispered about our dreams and i waited to hear grady screaming in pain and burning up. about 30 minuets latter i got nervouse so i peaked my head in to find the little monkey happy as could be playing in his crib, no fever no extra gunck nothing.
so we started our day
first made spaces ships and a space station cuz as dax puts it,
"theres no ships without a station mom"
then played a rolling ball game to see who could aim them the best and hit what ever we were aiming for.
Grady was the best ball boy ever
Next a picnic, i spluged at got the happy meals i get asked for everyday.
and i know this pic of dax is a little scary, but i couldnt help it look how he is in heaven, thoughly enjoying it with a double chin and cubby little fingers grasping it so tightly
took turns reading books
played with toys
and got some good rocking in and good naps
all the while no fevers or even extra whining from the kid.
i think after the 11 months of ear aches this kid this is a piece of cake.

I knew that little guy would laugh in the face of the swine flu! Happy as can be....take that swine flu:) Glad you guys are having a good day, makes the swine flu look kinda fun:)
P.S. picturing you sleeping on the floor up in the hall infront of their rooms made my eyes a little watery:) You are a great Mom.

well that is the best sick day, if I have ever seen one. Seriously I wanna get sick and have you take care of me :) But I am glad to hear Grady is feelin' back at it.

I bet all that happy fun floatin around your house chased that swine flu out the door. You should write a book on how to do sick days! No need for vaccines, just call Jamie!
I love how unsick they are. I bet they will remember this quiet day with you with fondness. I love the cute chubbie fingers too. Grady's eyes are so blue. Jamie thanks for taking such good care of my grandbabies. Sleeping outside their door is true love. I love you!
Next time I am sick can you come care for me... feed me and Entertain me too? Looks like your tough little fella handled that Swine FLu just fine! I am sooo glad! I loved talking to you!

So glad to hear! You will have to keep me posted on how the other 2 are doing. I hope it just moves on past the rest of the Heaps. Love Dax eating his cheese burger! I hope you had one too!
