Ya this is third knee surgery for matt, 2nd of our marrage. And i hate to admitt it but the first one I sucked at, so to make up for it matt is requesting a bell to ring when ever he needs something (dosnt want to yell ya know).
it was kinda fun sitting there for the 3 HOURS as we waited for him to go in and talking about all the funny things both of us had done during adn after surgerys like
after my DNC, when i came out of the meds the first thing i said was "i need something chocolatly and carmely like a carmelo" tottaly drooling quess we knew what i was dreaming about.
matt always has mdonalds right next to me during each child birth. its not like im not hungry having to fast from the night before. heavin forbid he skipped his mc muffin.
after his first surgury he was so sick and in pain he had to spend the night, and so i slept in the little chair next to him, oh you should have heard his breathing.
anywho i've decided its in these time we show our love best in how we take care of each other i remeber all the back tickes and times he changed the black poop diapers when i couldnt sit up and it made me love him all the more. so i guess when i hear that damn bell ring im going to try and hop on it.

and these next 6 weeks with those trusty chrutches are going to be a PARTY!

Awwww, very sweet Jamie. I think he is really excited about that bell. Im telling you the next step is the nurse outfit:) I hope he is feeling good right now and doing his trusty breathing excersizes to keep from feeling nausiated:) I hope you have that marble too, I want to see the sucker. Let us t-horneys know if there is anything we can do. Im sure Ryan would love a chance to respond to the bell:)

I hope all went well and he recovers quickly especially because I still want ya here for turkey weekend!

I agree with Mary...you need a nurse's outfit!!! Hope he is doing alright and let me know if you need to send the boys over for some downtime...anytime!!!
I hope he didnt have to wait too long for his pain meds tonight! Hopefully for your sake he will have a speedy recovery. (oh and I guess his too)
That was so sweet! I totally agree that those are the times where you show your love best. Here's to hoping you won't suck at taking care of him this time and his knee heals up nicely so there'll be no more surgeries.

Wow I have been a bad sister. I coudln't believe when I saw that the surgery has already taken place. I guess it's been awhile since we've talked. I hope he is hanging in there. I remember how rough it was for him last time. Make sure you have lots of popcorn, beef jerky, cold drinks, and the tv station off of Nickolodean and on sports center. I wish I could of taken your boys the big day. Tell Matt we love him and to get better soon because we REALLY are planning on you guys coming in a few weeks.
Matt, we didn't even know about the big surgery. You need to complain more. . .clear to Utah. So sorry you had to go through that again. You go ahead and ring that bell anytime you want, and Jamie you hop to it. Hope you will be feeling better by Thanksgiving, because we are counting down the days. I have a really big bell. We love you Matt and you are in our prayers.
