Yesterday grady woke up with a FEW bumps
on his face, so i took him to the DRS
"its just the end tail of a the virus that gave the kid fevers
the 2 nights before" they said
but this morning he woke up
COVERED IN THESE BUMPS
i think he'll be living in the tub the next few days
seeing how they think it will last 7-10 of them

OUCH! Was it the grass from your fun day in the sun? That looks itchy and painful, yet he still has the most adorable, sweet smile on his face. I cant wait to see him when I head out to UT for a visit next month.
How sad! Poor thing. And I bet he just wants to scratch. When will this all end for you? I hope it goes away faster than they say.
Oh Grady, Grandpa and I are so sorry. We wish it was us and not you. Aren't we lucky you have a warm bath tub and a Mom who will buy you oatmeal soakers..? Jamie We love you for taking such good care of our Grandsons!
Are you kidding me? I can't believe how sick your boys have been! I feel so bad for them and for you and Matt! I hope he feels better soon. Did they say you could give him Benadryl? I bet that will help him stop itching. Good luck! Summer can't get here fast enough.
Grady!!!! Poor baby! ARe they sure its not allergies? That is exactly what Dylan looked like one of the times I gave him formula. He is such a champ to be covered in rash and smiling that sweet smile. This whole sickness thing really needs to shimmy on passed you Heaps!!! Enough is enough universe!!!!!
What the....is right!! How sad! Is it like roseola or something? I hope it goes away quicker than that. Poor little poopy...give him a big squish for me!

Poor little man!
Jamie, what else can happen over there? I'm so sorry you are dealing with all of this. Good luck, I feel so bad for all of you {especially cute little Grady boy}
Hey JAmie,
So I've been reading your blog for a while now (we went to PHS together) anyway...my little one just had that rash last monday. IT's awful and it will get worse before it gets better...we're on day 15 and she's still got the rash and it flares up if she gets hot (running around etc.). I tried to find anything I could about viral rashes online. Email me if you want to know more...cause it was the first time my kids have ever had something like this and it totally is sad!
Here's the link to the postI did on mailee so you can see what her rash looks like...

p.s. get the aveeno anti-itch cream. That was a life saver for my little one. We'd put it on in the morning then at noon, then rigt before nap time and then after bath. Give him a cool bath with out any soap (makes it flare up more)...also ask your doc how much benedryl he can have...they go by weight. My little one weighs 29.8 pounds and I was told to give her 3/4 of a teaspoon every 6-8 hours for the itch and to keept the rash down a bit.
Sorry for the novel...
What the Freck... Can you get a Rest from the sickness? I looked at Grady and about cried! Looks so Ouchy! I hope you are on the mend!
Love that girl that filled you in on the all the goods~ I hope you have enjoyed a few more of those frozen Pizzas and a cold coke! Pop the otter pops too! Wish I could take the kids for a get a way for you and Matt! Dang!
I am coming in 7 days... you better have your dancing shoes on and ready to PARTY! ahhhhh I can hardly sleep at night I'm sooooo Excited!
oh, poor grady! i'll also vouch for the aveeno. it does wonders with our eczema itching issues here! good luck!
So glad it wasn't long lasting. It looks so painful. Love that he is just still a grinnin'. That is Grady for you. Hang in there!
