around here
first we do the routine tuck the monkeys in bed
and then it all starts
jumping wrestling screaming
lights on and off, pretending to be ghosts
more screaming, tip toeing, bathroom breaks
and everything in between
then we tuck in all over agian
to come back up to find this
tonight the wrestling was a little harder then usual
double bloody nose for dax
maybe it will help them fall a sleep a little earlier
WISH FULL HOPPING!!!

YOu forgot the jumping off the bed part, that was D's favorite part of the bedtime rituals. That Jace is a tough little cookie, giving Dax a double barrel bloody nose would be no easy job! Those boys will have fond, fond memories of bed time when they are old:)
You just wait until you have 3 little monkeys all in one bed. It won't be long until Grady will be joining them and that will just multiply the fun! Who wants to go to bed anyway when you have a buddy to play with? I will never forget the night I was over there and Jace went the bathroom 25 times. FUNNY! It won't end until they give up the naps in the day and then they will just pass out every night. But who wants to give up an hour or two in the day of peace and quiet? Not me! What cute little brothers so lucky to have each other!
love the photo documentation!! Seriously I hear ya on the bedtime routine. Why do they think it is so funny to keep getting in and out of bed???
I sure do love listening to the giggles though!!
Dax, don't let Jace get the better of you. Grandpa could teach you a few tricks. What would happen if you put one of the boys asleep in your bed, until you are ready to go to bed?
Man those are some Tough Cookies! What happy nights... I hate to say it But, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't have kids that jump right into bed. My kids are the Worst...! They come with Anything and Everything to get out of going to bed. Maizie still falls alseep on Heath's Chest everynight. After about 20 minutes of trying (Really Hard) to go to sleep she ends up sneaking up on Heath's Chest and goes right to sleep. Oh well We love it like that!

haha, that is a great post! Your boys have such a good time together, bloody noses and all. I am sure Grady is itchin' to be able to get in on the action.
I have this same trouble with my girls! Yikes! I think half the time I am asleep before they finally settle down. No bloody noses...yet but plenty of scratches and bumps.
