funny, but not so funny

most of my morning was spent here and here, why you might be wondering?
well today as we stood on the porch and waved our last good byes to matt
dax and jace both bee lined it in the house, as i turned around (Grady in my arms)
to head in the door slammed shut, so i go to turn the knob and yep LOCKED.
I hear laughing inside and then foot steps running across my kitchen and down the stairs.
I'm sure they heard the last cartoon on something sounding exciting and off the went.
so after a while of banging and death threats the door finally opens and too little boys take off running and laughing. I'm sure thinking its funny and a the running cuz there a little nervous of what i might do.
so ya i got mad and as you can see jace felt bad and dax was just mad.
but i got to admit it would be pretty funny if you were the one inside.
tomorrow I'll be the first one in and we'll see how funny they think it is.

That is pretty funny. It sounds like something you would do. I can't wait to hear what they think when they get locked out!

Ha!!Those two are too funny! I say you do lock em out. I have a feeling though, that they might have fun being locked out. I love the shots of them in trouble, the face expressions are the best. Can't wait to see how their turn outside goes:)

Little monkeys! I love the pictures after they got into trouble. That's how my boys would have looked. I'm with Mary, they might have way too much fun being locked outside.

That is hilarious. The same thing happened to me the other week, but luckily all I had to do was go to the backdoor, but you know arizona with all those little rocks for a front yard, I had no shoes on so my feet were killing me! Also, my kids would be the exact same Raegan would feel so bad, and Brig would be annoyed hat I scolded him. I miss your kiddos.

WOW... Rebecca sure is bringing the Holiday Cheer!
I laughed so hard when I read that. I think you should lock them out... I can't wait to hear what happens. My only advice would be to have Grady in his toy in case you have to chase them down the street. Chances are they might think: (Freedom) and head out to play! Let us know how it goes!
Your door is Darling and what would I give for a big front porch!

I am with the boys I think that is a pretty funny trick. What were you wearing? That happened to my neighbor but she was in her garments and her little boy was too small to unlock it. She had to find some motorcycling gear of her husbands put it on and run across the street to use the neighbors phone to call her husband. I'm glad you finally made it in! WHEW! Loved the looks on their faces.
