so to keep our summer busy and hoppin' my mom started a summer challenge
each week she has a theme of something totally new and
who ever wants to join in on the fun is welcome.

this week is EM'S COOK OFF.
rules.... post a favorite recipe and enjoy all the others
since its summer and we love eating on our back porch and finger foods i went with fried zucchini
in a bowl combine
1 cup flour
1 can beer of water
3 T rose marry
1 1/2 T salt
1 T pepper
2 T season all
cut zucchini in long thins strips then add to bowl stirring to cover all refrigerate
heat veg. oil in hot pan then add zucchini one at a time turning till all sides are golden brown
place on a plate covered in paper towels to remove excess oil
dip in yummy home made ranch.
