last night while the boys where outside playing baseball with matt
Jace happened to walk right into dax back swing, the poor kid got hit
SO HARD right in the eye, you could like hear the sound of it echo in the backyard.
the worst part was the next morning he couldn't even open it, it was so swollenand he kept saying
MY EYE MY EYE.

Jace, how come you always get the war wounds? That looks like a real doozy!! You look so happy in the pictures. I'm not so sure I would be smiling. Now we just need a picture of you and your uncle Matt together. I am so sorry you got wacked! I'm glad you are so tough!!

OUCH... my eye hurts just looking at him! I hate it when they get hurt! We know he belongs to you when he gets taken out with a bat black eye and all and the kid is up smiling ready for more! Love how you have taught them to be TOUGH! It is not easy to teach a kid to jump up and keep playing when they are hurt. I heard lots of Ice cream cures black eyes!

Oh Jace, I am so sorry to see your hurtie. I want to give you a big kiss to make it better. . . or maybe one of those tummy kisses you like. You are brave. Dax take it easy on your old Dad and your brother. Jamie I planted the strawberries and lavander, and vacuumed up the dirt before Dad ever saw it. So wonderful to see your cute pregnant body in your back yard yesterday. You are such a blessing in my life!

Jamie, I look at Jace and Dax and I so love you for being their Mom. You are the perfect Mom for three little boys. This Mother's Day I want to tell you that I think you are the most fun, most exciting, most wonderful mom. I love how you can do anything with such ease. Wouldn't it have been something if I had been born to you. I would have loved that. But for now I just love feeling like we are sisters. I so enjoyed the other day when we sat on my couch and just talked. Thank you for coming up. I love you Cheech, You brighten up all our lives!
