the third day in tuscon

how could we skip a whole day with no photos? i know i slacked a little on Friday, but just imagine tasty fish tacos, cold dc, lots of boxes and chips and salsa
and you can pretty much see what we did.
So on too Saturday "THE YARD SALE"
if you've never had a yard sale in tucson then when i tell you how it goes
you won't really believe what I'm saying but really there
is no exaggeration in this story...
its 5:45 in the morning and me and matt head out to put up the two
fantastic sign's i had made for the event, as were pulling back to our house
there are 4 cars there to greet us, ready and willing to purchase
all our goods.

truck after truck pulls up buying every item we had but a few shirts

of course there amazing at bargaining but every item is a steal, even

old bunny dishes and over priced stereo systems.

trish was a old pro and knew how to work the crowd

pointing out over looked items and willing and dealing.

during the big sale "D" got a new stylish hair cut,

jeanie got called the GROUCHY one by one CRAZY women, kyle gave roppin lessons, these to had a heart to heart, and matt continued to box and box and box. at the end of the morning we had made a whopping $400 dollars
that's not even counting Trish or Jeanie's or even ryans
high priced stereo profit. it was amazing.

Those amazing yard sale signs are still on the street 4 days later. I think of you every time I pass them!!
boo hoo!!
It was one great yard sale with all sorts of goodies! My favorite... the fabulous free computer monitor from Albertson's!! can't believe it was passed up!
Kyle says make sure you click on his pictures for full viewing pleasure...

Wow.. we should head to Tuscon pull open the Uhaul door and get rid of all our crap before we journey to Florida. I could use a little clean out and $400 would be delightful too!
Talk about looking good. You look tiny in your photo.. was that a Thigh Master? Did that get sold? My thighs could use a good work out! I'm happy you had a good trip and a extra $400 what a way to top of the day. I love you.

Good memories! What about the guy who ended up paying more than his original offer once you started the bargaining...haha! That was an amazing morning...except for my mysteriously lost cell phone is still not to be seen! I am excited for the next Tucson post!

First of all, that was one quality stereo, not overpriced at all. The Thornes may have only walked away with 30 bucks, but the memories were priceless and D got a fantastic haircut. He even ate his lollypop with hair stuck to it. We should go pick up your quality signs and frame them!
